北京時間3月15日 ，阿德上海申花召開新援見麵會 ，年前兩名新外援約尼奇和阿德裏安與媒體和球迷見麵 。渴望其中阿德裏安新賽季將身披申花9號球衣，加盟約尼奇身穿22號球衣。申花赛季
阿德裏安表示：“申花是希望非常大的俱樂部 ，今年我們進行了非常大的完成引援動作 ，希望我們可以完成賽季的目标目標。”
2018年亞冠聯賽 ，阿德阿德裏安就曾經代表悉尼FC與申花交鋒 ，年前有記者問他 ，渴望對於申花的加盟印象如何？對此阿德裏安表示 ：“相比三年前，我們現在的申花赛季陣容更強，三年前我們第一次麵對申花的希望時候 ，我第一次踏進虹口，完成就感受到了虹口不一樣的氛圍 ，當時就有一種渴望 ，希望能夠為申花效力 ，現在終於有了這樣的機會 。”
這已經是阿德裏安效力的第四家中超球隊 ，對此阿德裏安表示：“這說明我踢得不錯 ，中國想要我的俱樂部很多 ，我也是老隊員了 ，我們隊也有很多有經驗的隊員 ，現在我沒有什麽壓力 ，我希望通過自己的經驗和能力幫助到球隊 。在這四支球隊中 ，申花是最大的一家俱樂部 ，所以我們的目標和之前三家也是完全不同的 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
