不過，谈租皇馬在這方麵似乎也有著自己的衣留打算 。據馬卡電台記者Ramón Álvarez de Mon的巴佩報道 ，皇馬正在和阿紮爾的皇马号球老東家切爾西商談租借事宜 ，力求將這位高價水貨變相“退貨”回去。西商而一旦切爾西租借簽回阿紮爾成真 ，谈租那麽阿紮爾走後留下的衣留7號球衣 ，正好可以在下賽季分配給姆巴佩 。巴佩
阿紮爾於2019年夏天自切爾西加盟皇馬 ，創下了1.15億歐元的天價轉會費 。但自打來到皇馬起 ，阿紮爾就由於接連不斷的傷病 ，始終未能找到在切爾西時期呼風喚雨的狀態 。而比利時人的身價也一路走低 ，從切爾西時期最高的1.5億歐元 ，一路下跌至如今的1800萬歐元 。但阿紮爾 ，如今也隻有31歲而已……
本賽季 ，阿紮爾的狀態持續低迷 ，雖然有過22次出場記錄 ，但出場時間隻有877分鍾 ，隻交出了1球2助攻的數據 。
